The SVG Diaspora Committee's Business Initiative is a platform that builds on the recommendations of the SVG USA Diaspora Framework for Action in the areas of business and economic development. The goal is to encourage discussion that leads to the development and promotion of Vincentian-owned and managed businesses in New York City and the surrounding areas. The sustainable growth of business in the Vincentian diaspora is seen as an area in need of major development to propel a stronger diaspora community.
